We are having a schools reunion, for all schools, in Singapore at the beginning of June next year.
Find your own flights and accommodation and we will meet up at the former St Johns School, now the United World College, on Tuesday 3rd June 2014, where we will have a tour around the school and lunch (nasi goreng will be one of the choices).
Trips to the Naval Base, the Naval Museum, Tiger Balm Gardens and a beach picnic are being organised, as is an evening at the British Club.
Hotels booked so far are the Fort Canning Lodge, Hotel Fort Canning, and  Copthorne Kings, so if you stay there you will be sure to have some company.
Email me at for further information.

I was in Singapore from 58-60 (Pulau Brani Primary) and 63-66 (AGS and then St Johns).
There is an active Facebook site for Ex Far East britbrats and also St Johns (which was formed when AGS and ASM combined to become comprehensive).

« on: October 07, 2011, 08:53:00 AM »
Welcome to all the new members. You are not too late to attend the mini reunion at the Chandos pub tomorrow, near Trafalgar Square in London. 1130 onwards.
Check out for more photos and messages on Singapore schools, and photos of the recent reunion in Plymouth.
Email me at for further details.
Enjoy this site and let us know if you find old friends.
Join us on Facebook as well.
Lynne (Pulau Brani primary and AGS/St Johns)

This site has been quiet for a while (maybe since Facebook got a grip).
Anyway, as this was the first of the networking sites for Singapore schools (what fun I had collating all the names on an Excel list when it first started ) I thought that I'd thank Fred for keeping it going, and encourage everyone to post details of who they are and where and when they went to school.
For those who may not know me, I was Lynne Wilson and lived on the small island of Pulau Brani from 58-60 and 63-66, going first to Pulau Brani primary school (though it was on Blakang Mati when I first went there, but then relocated to PB. On our second tour I went to AGS and then St Johns, starting at St Johns when it opened as a 4th year.
Army brat through and through, born in Egypt then postings on the IOW, Portsmouth and Singapore.

A mini reunion (pub get together) is being proposed for mid August, to see the annual Fireworks display
and then spend time catching up with old friends and making new.
Don't worry if you have never been to a reunion before, we all have similar memories, and being Forces kids are very adaptable at making small talk with strangers.
So, if you live near Plymouth or fancy a weekend in Devon, email me at for further details.

I have started playing badminton on a Wednesday evening, and found out last night that one of the chaps I play with went to Bourne School (Singapore) and boarded at Kinloss about 1967 - 1968.
I'll find out his name next time I play.
What a small world.
